Natural Park of Monte Tezio
Monte Tezio (961 m a.l.), is situated between the Tiber Valley and Lake Trasimeno and near the capital town of Perugia.
It represents one of the most important resource on the point of view of environment and tourism of the Umbrian territory. It is characterized by the presence of mountain protostoric settlements and medieval castles and monastery and by a network of easy paths which offer suggestive panoramic views on the river Tiber valley and Trasimeno Lake.
