The art of food in Umbria

The “art of food” represents one of the excellence of the Niccone Valley and of all the territory of the High Tiber Valley. The hills are planted with beautiful vineyards and olive groves; various small breeders assure meats and cheeses of high quality; honey, truffles and others quality products are available in the small shops of the region.

Maridiana collaborates with various artisanal laboratories and is part of the program La Spesa in Campagna. Thanks to these networks Maridiana offers to the guests a large variation of activities: cooking classes, tasting of typical products at small laboratories which show the technique of processing and preparation of food, visits to the local km 0 farmers markets. Exclusive experiences that Maridiana proposes to learn about the world of the art of food, made also of Slow Food and DOC, DOP, IGP products.
