Maridiana Alpaca, member of Umbria Riding consortium, cooperates with the A.S.D. Sport Equestri "Valle del Carpina" in Montone (affiliated with Sport Nazionale).
The activities offered are:
1. Lessons in riding school to introduce the non experts in the world of the horses.
2. Guided Tours of half day or one day (for expert riders) at the discovery of the Niccone Valley.
3. Three days excursion that runs along the High Tiber Valley from Montone to Pietralunga, Bocca Serriola, Città di Castello, Monte Santa Maria Tiberina and return to Maridiana.
The first half day by horse it consists of an exclusive promenade that from Montone runs through the Tiber Valley and after wading across the river and climbing to the panoramic Monte Bastiola reaches Maridiana Alpaca. The days after, from Maridiana it is possible to make the various circular paths or follow the 3 days tour, always with the guide of the experts of the Association. The excursion of the one day tours or the three days tour are enriched by the picnic lunch in the panoramic areas of the territory.
Any type of activities requires to pay a membership fee to hte ASD and an insurance contract to be effected the day before the activities
