Pietralunga and Carpina Valley

Near the municipality of Pietralunga, village born on existing longobards\bizanthine locations, there is the Naturalistic Oasis of Candeleto within the Regional Forest Park. The Oasis offers a didactic path, constituted by four stations with explanatory posters which illustrate the principal habitat of the Oasis and a series of botanic details. Together with the path it is suggested the visit to the Naturalistic Ornitological and Wild Fauna Museum, which is an integral part of the Centre of Environmental Education of Candeleto.

Pietralunga, with Montone, is part of the Carpina Valley, which offers numerous hiking and diversified activities.
